Usually one of the very first and most exciting parts of planning a wedding is the bride choosing her wedding dress and its often a wonderful day out for the bride and her Mum or her sister(s) or very close friends.
It’s vitally important that the dress is not only suitable for the bride but also that it fits her perfectly. When our daughter had her big day, we managed to incorporate seed pearls on to the dress which had been handed down from her great grandmother’s dress. There’s no need to pay the earth for a dress, it’s worth looking around at various dress shops and if you see something that’s way out of your price range, consider having a dress made. There’s an amazing lady in Horsforth who can make the most beautiful dresses from scratch and if you already have an idea of what you’d like and have seen, she can also copy designs. She has a shop called Paradise Grove.
Photographs should always be taken of the back and the front of the wedding dress and I always pick up on the small detail of the dress as this is so important for your album.
