Leeds Wedding Photographer at The Mansion, Roundhay Park

As a Leeds wedding photographer, there are few venues as iconic and versatile as The Mansion at Roundhay Park. This historic Greek Revival building, surrounded by 700 acres of lush parkland, provides an incredible backdrop for a wedding story—one filled with elegance, vibrant colors, and genuine emotion.

I recently had the honor of photographing a stunning wedding here that beautifully balanced classic Leeds charm with a striking royal blue color palette.

Timeless Bridal Preparations

The day started with the quiet, joyful moments of bridal prep. Capturing the bride’s radiant smile as she was assisted with her lace gown and tiara allows the morning’s excitement to shine through. These close-up portraits, showcasing the intricate lace detailing, are essential for preserving the “getting ready” chapter of the day.

A Heartfelt Ceremony at The Mansion

The ceremony space at The Mansion is always filled with a wonderful, airy light. One of the most poignant moments to document is the bride being walked down the aisle by her father, meeting a groom whose expression says it all.

From the exchange of vows to the celebratory first kiss, my goal is to capture the atmosphere of the room. After the “I dos,” the couple shared a formal moment signing the marriage register at a table elegantly styled with navy blue runners.

Portraits in the Heart of Roundhay Park

One of the greatest perks of being a Leeds wedding photographer at this venue is access to the park itself. We stepped outside for portraits among the greenery, where the bride’s unique royal blue rose bouquet provided a spectacular pop of color against her white gown.

Whether capturing a tender kiss in the gardens or a quiet moment of reflection on a rustic stone wall, the natural beauty of Roundhay Park elevates every frame.

Precious Family Moments

No wedding album is complete without the little ones. The flower girls, dressed in navy blue with matching headpieces, brought a sense of pure joy to the day. These candid, smiling shots are often the ones families treasure the most years down the line.
