Winter Wonderland Wedding in Harrogate

Winter Wonderland Wedding in Harrogate North Yorkshire

Alison and Gary’s wish came true today, a Winter Wonderland Wedding.

When I woke up this morning it was zero degrees but as the day progressed, the temperature increased to 2 degrees.  When I arrived at Bilton House, Harrogate, the ground had a dusting of snow.  On the bride’s arrival at the Registry Office, the snow started to come down quite heavily.

After the wedding ceremony, I took this wonderful photograph of the ‘newly weds’ in the grounds of Bilton House, which captured the day perfectly.

Over the many years I have been a wedding photographer, I have taken a great many wedding photographs at Harrogate Registry Office – Bilton House but this is a first for me, a winter wonderland wedding photograph.

Wedding Photography Weddings at The Queens Hotel Leeds

Photographing weddings at The Queens Hotel, Leeds is always a pleasure and a delight whether it be in the fantastic ballroom or the art deco Palm Court Room.  The Queens Hotel, Leeds has to be one of the best wedding venues in Leeds for your special day.  For those romantic photographs of the bride and groom, I love to use City Square which is a great backdrop for the bride and groom wedding photographs.

If you are intending to have a religious wedding ceremony, then within easy reach of the hotel are numerous different denominational places of worship.  An added bonus is that if you have guests coming from out of town, the hotel is adjacent to Leeds City Train station — it couldn’t be easier.

As I am located in North Leeds, I am only a few miles away so rest assured that I will have no difficulty in arriving at the venue.  Over my 12 years as a Yorkshire wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of taking many stunning wedding photographs at The Queens Hotel, Leeds.

What a fabulous setting for your wedding.  I have been photographing weddings and events at Rudding Park, Harrogate now for over 10 years and it always amazes me how stunning the venue, including the grounds are.  Another plus point for Rudding Park, Harrogate is the 19th century chapel where you can have a blessing.  One of the highlights during the past few years has included photographing the owner of Rudding Park, Simon Mackaness’s son, Matthew on  his charity Atlantic Rowing Challenge.

I have photographed small intimate weddings in the Library at Rudding Park, Harrogate and also much larger weddings including Jewish ones with over 200 people in The Radcliffe Room.

The staff are a credit to Rudding Park, Harrogate.  They are very attentive to your every need.  The grounds are immaculately pruned.

Rudding Park, Harrogate is only 15 minutes from where I live in North Leeds so there’s no worry about whether your photographer will get stuck in traffic or will turn up on the day.  Having photographed many weddings at Rudding Park, Harrogate, I am a familiar face to the staff and the clergy should you have a blessing in the 19th century chapel.

For those couples who would like to see more of my images of Rudding Park, Harrogate, I have several wedding albums which I can show you.

If you have chosen Rudding Park, Harrogate as your wedding venue, I am sure that you will not be disappointed and you will have a fantastic wedding day and the best way to remember your day, is to have beautiful wedding photography.

I have been photographing weddings at Ripley Castle for over 12 years.  I have a soft spot for Ripley Castle as the first wedding I ever photographed was at this magnificent venue.  One of my highlights was photographing the 21st birthday party of the children of Sir Thomas and Lady Ingleby.

I know the grounds very well and have intimate knowledge of all the special places for taking stunning photographs in such a glorious setting.  Over the years I’ve photographed a candlelit wedding in the library on New Year’s Eve and  a Russian style wedding in the east wing.

If you look at my portfolio you will see many iconic photographs including the ‘must have’ image of the bride and groom on the jetty in the lake and walking hand-in-hand along the walled garden.

All in all, Ripley Castle is a wonderful and romantic venue for a wedding.
